Claire Lost 5 Stone, Here’s Her Story

"Life before starting was lots of biscuits and coffee. I keep thinking I needed to do something about my weight but kept putting it off. It wasn’t until I saw a video of myself from from a holiday I’d been on dancing with my daughter that I thought I need to change. I wanted to change for my children but I also needed to do it for me and I wanted to do it.

I saw The Fit Body Formula online and also a friend was doing the 6 weeker. She said how good it was and how friendly the people were so I went for it. I was nervous for my first session but everyone was really welcoming and I just got in with it.

It was literally only a week and I knew it was for me. I loved it. Something different every day. After the 6 weeks was up I decided to invest in myself and signed up for the year.

I feel fantastic now. I’ve lost 5st in 22 months. I just didn’t realise how much weight I had put on. The exercise is not only good for keeping me fit and maintaining a healthy weight but it’s great for my mental health to. I always look forward to going. I’ve made some amazing friends too. And to top it off I became a trainer which I love. I get to help people and I understand how they feel as I know what it’s like to start at the beginning."

Vikki O’Donnell 6 Week Story

”Before I had started The Fit Body Formula I was the heaviest I had ever been. I was tired and miserable, my work uniform had become so tight I was embarrassed to speak to people and I had completely lost all confidence in myself. I had found myself wearing clothes I had only worn when I was pregnant and I decided enough was enough. 

I was very anxious before I started, I hadn’t exercised for a very long time and just wasn’t sure if I would even be able to keep up? Would I look stupid? What will everyone else think of me?

After I attended my first session all these thoughts went away. Michael and all the trainers are very welcoming, they are happy to offer an alternative exercise if I found myself struggling (I have a weak lower back and shoulder) which enabled me to keep pushing myself and I learnt very quickly that no one else cares about how I look or what I’m doing as we are all there to better ourselves. The sessions are brilliant, every day is something new and therefore I never find myself not wanting to go. The session times are great and I can even fit them around my 13 hour working day which I have always struggled to do before! 

Now I have completed my first 6 weeks, I am honestly shocked at the results I have received. I still have a way to go but I am honestly starting to feel like me again, wearing the clothes I use to and definitely not feeling embarrassed about myself. I’m so excited to see where I will be in another 6 weeks. For anyone wanting to make a change, I 100% recommend this program... it’s changed my life.

Reeni Mehmi’s 6 Week Story

”Last few years I have had gym membership with various companies. I even had one at work, which I hardly ever visited! I ate junk food and then would force myself to work out on a treadmill to justify all that bad eating. I couldn’t even walk up a flight of stairs without running out of breath and I clearly knew that change was necessary. I am a mother of two so needed a way of training without it effecting my homelife.

I already knew a member, but nevertheless I was a little apprehensive. I was worried I would competing against very fit women who had been going to Fit Body Formula for years. I was hoping that the sessions would be varied. I hated the idea of doing the same session over and over again.

Cliché as it may sound, this has been the best journey I have taken myself on. I have a time slot that works for me, normally I attend at the 5.50am on most occasions, however there are enough slots throughout the day so you book and walk in whenever it suits you. Michael and the team are always supportive and available for any questions. I have been following the recipes, which have been fantastic. As I was vegan, the recipes are adaptable and will work with everyone. This lifestyle choice has affected my whole household and has been positive step forward.

As for my results, I have lost around 4Kg over the course of 6 weeks. It was enough to fit into those old clothes again. Overall my fitness levels have improved dramatically since joining this group. I have met some wonderful people and we all support each other regularly.
